Karnataka Raita Vidya Nidhi Scholarship.
The Government of Karnataka launched the Raita Vidya Nidhi Scholarship 2023 in order to provide scholarships to the children of farmers. Through this scheme scholarships amounting to Rs 2500 to Rs, 11000 will be provided to the children of farmers who are pursuing higher education. The amount of the scholarship will be transferred directly into the bank account of the beneficiary through the direct benefit transfer method. This scheme ensures that each and every student of Karnataka will get higher education.
In order to get benefit from this scheme, students are required to register on the portal. This scholarship will also encourage the children of the farmers to pursue higher education. Children of farmers will also be able to get benefits from the scheme even if they are already getting the benefit of any other scholarship scheme.

Objective Of Raita Vidya Nidhi Scholarship
The main objective of the Raita Vidya Nidhi Scholarship Scheme is to provide scholarships to the children of farmers so that they can continue their education despite facing financial hurdles. The minimum amount of scholarship provided through this scheme is Rs 2500 and the maximum scholarship is Rs 11000. This scheme is also going to promote higher education among farmer’s children. Other than that with the implementation of this scheme, the children of farmers will be encouraged to complete their education.

- The Chief Minister of Karnataka state Mr. Basavaraj Bommai Ji along with Department of Agriculture, Karnataka has released Raita Vidya Nidhi Scholarship.
- This scholarship was firstly launched on August 7, 2021. Further it was extended to year 2023.
- Under this scheme, the Karnataka government will provide financial assistance of Rs.2,000 to Rs. 11,000 in the form of scholarship.

Procedure To Apply For Raita Vidya Nidhi Karnataka Scholarship
- Firstly, the candidate has to visit the Official Website https://raitamitra.karnataka.gov.in/english of Agriculture Department of Karnataka.
- Then on homepage, you have to click on “Scholarship Programme for farmer children” under online service area.
- A new page will appear with 2 options YES or NO. If you have Aadhar card number then click on YES.
- If you do not have Aadhar card number then click on NO.
- If you choose YES, then enter all the asked information such as Aadhar card number, name, gender etc.
- You choose NO, then enter your EID number, EID name, gender etc.
- Check the declaration & click on ‘Continue’ option.
- A new page will appear. Fill the required information & upload all the necessary documents.
- Click on ‘Submit’ option.
- You have successfully applied for this scholarship.
Procedure To Login
- Firstly, the candidate has to visit the Official Website of Agriculture Department of Karnataka.
- Then on homepage, you have to click on “Scholarship Programme for farmer children” under Online service area.
- Now you have to click on ‘Student login’ option.
- A new page will appear with login credentials.
- Enter your User ID, password & captcha code.
- Then click on ‘Login’ option.
- You will be successfully logged in to your user ID.
Procedure To View Beneficiary List
- Firstly, the candidate has to visit the Official Website of Agriculture Department of Karnataka.
- Then on homepage, you have to click on “Scholarship Programme for farmer children” under Online service area.
- Now you have to click on “Beneficiary list” option.
- On this page you have to enter all the required details.
- Now you have to click on ‘View list’ option.
- A beneficiary list will come on the next page, here you can check your name.
