MGNREGA: Subsidy of ₹57 thousand for construction of cow shed

Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Mohammad Roshan said that a new order has been issued by the Commissionerate for the construction of cattle barns with a grant of ₹ 57 thousand to the farmers of the rural areas under the ambitious scheme of the central government Yadama Mahatma Gandhi Rega.
Announce this, earlier SC and ST. ₹43 thousand only for families, ₹22 thousand for other families was given for the construction of cattle shed. ₹57 thousand for 4 cattle for individual based work for all categories of people has been approved recently.
People in the rural areas of the district have been asked to contact their village panchayat to register for the construction of individual sheds.

What are the main objectives of Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS)

A. MAIN OBJECTIVES OF MGNREGS:

(a) providing not less than one hundred days of unskilled manual labor as guaranteed employment to every household in a rural area in a financial year according to demand, leading to the creation of productive assets of specified quality and durability;
strengthening the livelihood resource base of the poor;
(c) proactively ensuring social inclusion and
(d) Strengthening of Panchayat Raj institutions.

What is the purpose of Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act

The mandate of MGNREGA is to provide at least 100 days of guaranteed wage employment in a financial year to every rural household whose adult members volunteer for unskilled manual labour.
