Call for applications from filmmakers for Grants
The Department of Information and Public Relations has invited applications from eligible producers for the subsidy for the calendar year (Dinadarshi) 2019 as applicable to Kannada and other regional language films of the state made in Karnataka. The last date for applying through the online system is August 8.

From 1.1.2019 the Departmental Commissioner Dr. said that only Kannada and regional language films which have received Censor Certificate from CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification) and permission from department to shoot in the state till 31.12.2019 (two days inclusive) are eligible to apply online for subsidy for calendar year 2019. P. S. Harsha said in a statement.
10,647 for subsidy on sevasindhuservices website for interested filmmakers. After paying the fee, the application should be submitted along with necessary information, documentation, certificate. After that, download the filled application and fee payment receipt from online, along with it, two Blu-ray discs according to the period entered in the Censor Certificate and all the documentation and certificates confirmed by the producer should be assembled as a total of 10 (ten) sets and sent to the address below.
Film Producers should submit in person during office hours till 18th August at Film Branch, Vartha Soudha, #17, First Floor, Bhagwan Mahavira Road, Bangalore-560001.
Necessary information should be given on construction firm’s letterhead (letterhead) with seal and signature. Ensure that the Blu-ray disc of the movie mentioned in the online application is displayed while physically giving it to the department.
The department will not accept applications for direct grant without submitting fee and application online. Application through other channels including post, courier, email is not allowed except for service validity. Similarly, applications will not be accepted online or physically or in any other form after the prescribed period, the release said.
