Here’s how to make eKYC on the PM Kisan website
The Prime Minister’s Kisan Samman fund scheme is a center-backed project aimed at providing financial assistance to families of farmers who own land. The beneficiaries of the scheme receive Rs 6000 annually, which is credited to their bank accounts in three equal installments.
To receive the next installment of Rs 2000, farmers have to link their Aadhaar to their PM Kisan accounts, as it is now mandatory for all beneficiaries to upgrade eKYC on the PM Kisan website. Farmers need to make OTP based Aadhaar authentication by visiting CSC Center.
Here’s how to update eKYC on the PM Kisan website
Visit the official website of PM-Kisan
On the eKYC option available in the upper right corner of the page
Enter Aadhaar card number, captcha code and ‘search’
Enter the mobile number linked with the Aadhaar card
‘Get OTP’ and enter the OTP in the specified field
According to website information, temporary problems with UIDAI’s OTP services may cause ‘time out’ and delay in receiving OTP. Farmers should visit nearby CSC centers for biometric authentication.
